Breathwork for Inner Healing and Self‑Empowerment

Individual & group breathwork · throughout the US and abroad

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is a powerful expanded state that happens from you, not to you.

With intentional breath, evocative music, and supportive presence, you create the experience from within. This practice helps you trust your body, your breath, and your inner wisdom to guide you into deeper levels of healing and self‑understanding.

People who are drawn to this work tend to be curious, open, and ready to explore life from deeper dimensions. If you feel called to more than the material world, if you want to use your experiences as resources along your growth path, and if you long to connect mind, body, heart, and spirit in an embodied way, breathwork can be a profound companion on your journey.

My belief is that our essential energy naturally moves us toward wholeness and healing, and breathwork helps you connect to that inner intelligence. Rather than something happening to you, this is something YOU generate, something your body, heart, and spirit co‑create together.

Your body knows things your mind has forgotten, and your breath becomes the bridge between your conscious self and the deeper intelligence that moves you toward healing.

THE METHOD

What Breathwork Is and How It Feels

The method I use is rooted in the same principles as Holotropic Breathwork, developed by Stanislav and Christina Grof as a way to access deep inner states without substances. Holotropic means "moving toward wholeness," and the whole point of this practice is to create conditions where your inner healing intelligence can emerge and move you toward clarity, insight, and release.

In a session you'll be lying down, breathing in a connected rhythm alongside music that supports the process. This combination invites a non‑ordinary state of consciousness where the natural wisdom of your psyche can come forward. Each experience is unique to you and to the moment, revealing what matters most to your growth.

This type of work creates a rhythm inside you with your breath that allows emotion, physical sensation, memory, and intuition to surface in ways that are holistic, meaningful, and embodied.

Why Is Breathwork so Powerful?

A Practice That Comes From Within You

One of the most powerful aspects of this breathwork is that the experience comes from you rather than being imposed on you. There is nothing to ingest, nothing external to surrender to.

When people open to this kind of inner process, many discover that the feelings and insights that arise are more potent and lasting because they arise from their own system, in their own time, and in their own way.

For many, this feels like reclaiming agency. The experience brings you closer into yourself. You discover that your body knows things your mind has forgotten, and your breath becomes a bridge between your conscious self and the deeper intelligence that moves toward healing and wholeness.

Who Breathwork Is For

Are you drawn to expanded states without substances? Do you want to feel the intelligence of your own system rather than have something done to you? Breathwork may be a powerful fit for you if you’re someone who:

✓ Feel called to explore life and healing at a deeper level, beyond the material world

✓ Are open to experiences that shift perspective and expand your understanding of self

✓ Want to support therapeutic growth, self‑trust, and embodied presence

✓ Are preparing for other expanded‑state work, or navigating a life transition

✓ Long to connect mind, body, heart, and spirit in a deeply embodied way

✓ Want to use your life experiences as resources along your growth path

Breathwork can support deep healing of emotional patterns, unresolved life experiences, and ingrained survival responses. It can also cultivate self‑trust and presence, offering tools you can carry with you outside of the breathwork session itself.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What You Might Experience During A Breathwork Session

Because this work invites non‑ordinary states of consciousness, experiences vary widely from session to session.

It’s all part of the process of letting your inner healer, your essential self, have space to express and be heard.

The role of the facilitator is not to direct or interpret your experience, but to hold space so that your inner intelligence can emerge and guide you.
